Sputtering Process

Sputtering is a process whereby atoms are ejected from a solid target material due to bombardment of the target by energetic ions. It is commonly used for thin-film deposition, etching and analytical techniques. Sputter deposition is a physical vapor deposition (PVD) method of depositing thin films by sputtering material onto a substrate.

How We Work With You

01

Start With a Conversation

You don't need to know which system you need.

Call or email us and describe what you're trying to achieve.

You'll talk directly with scientists who've run these processes and know what questions to ask.

02

We Plan It Together

Once we understand your goals, we map out the right configuration.

Materials, parameters, chamber design, accessories — all matched to your process.

Whether it's your first system or an addition to an existing lab, the plan is built around you.

03

A Relationship, Not a Transaction

After your system ships, we're still your first call.

Existing customers reach us for process questions, spare parts, and upgrades.

We expect those calls — and we're set up for them.
